I joined a boxed set that was aiming for the USA Today Bestseller List. There were a lot of amazing authors involved, some of which I am still in contact with. This was a very stressful campaign, and everyone pulled their weight and then some. We were very grateful for everyone who helped spread the word about the set.
The book I had in there, Dark Lust, was about a fae prince named Dante Aurellis. Since then, he has gone through a lot of changes. There is no longer a book called Dark Lust. Dante is part of my Tempted by the Fae series. He is still the heir to the throne of the Light Fae (the Seelie). He comes from a long bloodline dating back to the first of the fae. He inherited shadow magic from his father’s side, and not his mother’s side which is strange since she is a shadow fae (Unseelie). He can be reckless and has a bit of an ego like most royal fae do. He was quite a ladies’ man until he stopped sleeping around. He says he got bored. He hates dressing up for fancy parties or official royal duty. He has no interest in being the heir to the throne, but he hasn’t got much of a choice. He is kind to animals, loves his father dearly, still mourns the loss of his mother, and would do just about anything for his two best friends Daenerys and Ulysis.
The boxed set is no longer available, but I was happy to have written what I did back then. Stories are bound to change, and the change I made to Dante’s story was exactly what was needed.
