I have a new book coming out April 17th. Currently, it is available for pre-order on Amazon, B&N, and Apple for ebooks. Paperbacks will be available on Amazon and B&N. This is my attempt at a pre-order as well as going wide for the first time with a book. I am stepping away from Amazon’s KU. I don’t know how traditionally published authors manage to get into KU while being wide, but that could be a traditionally published thing while me being an Indie author can’t do that. I do have a short description about my academy series world under the tab Barthorn Academy. Riverfang Academy is a prequel set 50 years before. It puts you right in the middle of the shifter war against a powerful adversary named Valeesh. Though this enemy would rather stalk through thoughts and use his demonic forces to attack the shifters, he won’t play a coward when directly challenged. Deep down, he doesn’t want to annihilate all the shifters; he wants them united under his rule. He is power-hungry, like most villains are. He is also vengeful against the divine entities and Nature herself for not giving him “magic” like the other shifters were blessed with. So, yeah, he’s got some issues. What I like about him is his relentless pursuit of Leland, the main character. Leland is a special kind of shifter who has never shifted. The animal side of him has been waking up, slowly. That old saying, ‘Let sleeping dogs lie’ will be so relevant here. Sometimes, it’s better to let that side stay dormant. Leland is seen as a savior for the shifter and mage communities, but if he did overcome his fear and anxiety, he is sure he knows how the war ends: with him in a cage.
